Final Stats

Cullowhee, N.C. - Western Carolina's women's volleyball team defeated the University of Evansville, 3-1, to give them a 2-1 record thus far in the Middle Tennessee State Tournament in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The Catamounts took the first game (30-19), lost the second (19-30) and won the next two (30-23, 34-32) to give them the victory. Western was led defensively and offensively by Stefanie Peters, who had 17 digs and 16 kills.

The Lady Cats will face Purdue at 4:30 pm to complete their play in the tournament.
