* With the win, Western Carolina has won eight-straight over Presbyterian dating back to 1970;
* The win for the Catamounts snapped a 14-game road losing skid, while also ending Presbyterian's six-game home winning streak;
CAREER DAY FOR Quan Warley: Red-shirt freshman Quan Warley ecplised the 100-yard rushing mark for the first-time in his career, finishing with a career-best 200 yards rushing ... it is the first-time a Catamount rusher had surpassed the century mark since Mike Malone rushed for 151 yards at Appalachian State last season
MORE ON WARLEY: Warley became just the eighth different Catamount to surpass 200 yards rushing in a single-game ... his performance was also just the 10th, 200-yard rushing performance in school history and WCU's first since Fred Boateng rushed for 213 against Georgia Southern in 2000 ... Warley also became the third freshman to rush for 200 yards in school history joining Darryl Jackson (vs. Mars Hill, 200 yards, 10/10/87) and Darius Hooks (vs. Wofford, 203 yards 9/14/96)
Notes:
* Andy Horn's 19-yard scramble on a third and 9 midway through the first quarter was a career-long rush ... His previous career-long was a six-yard rush in the season-opener against Shorter ... Also for Horn, he entered the game with nine career rush attempts - in the first half alone, he tallied seven runs from scrimmage;
* Andy Horn finished with his third, 200-yard passing day of his career;
* On WCU's drive that spanned the end of the first quarter into the second, Quan Warley's 33-yard romp over the left side was a career-long;
* Red-shirt senior QB Andy Horn started 7-for-8 before his ninth pass just fell outside the outstretched hands of Marquel Pittman;
* John Julien stripped PC's #2 Chetyuane Reeder early in the second quarter to create Western Carolina's first turnover of the season ... Later in the game, Jeff Bradley fell on a loose football in the PC backfield to create the Catamounts' second takeaway of the season;
