CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Freshman sensation Jaelyn Warren won the high jump with a leap of 1.66m in the final day of the Virginia Challenge Saturday. It was Warren’s third straight win in the high jump event.
Virginia Challenge Day Two 
Senior Sally Woerner placed third in the 400m hurdles clocking in a time of 1:03.31. In the 400m hurdles invitational, Dasha Arnaut placed ninth with a time of 59.90. Dylan Andrade placed 14th on the men’s side of the 400m hurdles invitational at 55.11.
In the women’s 4x400m relay, Arnaut, Dominique Delisser, Woerner and D'Amani Bryant placed 10th with a time of 3:48.64.
Simone Williams placed 10th in the shot put with a heave of 12.83m. In the men’s shot put, Dakota Wright placed fourth, just missing his personal best of 16.07m, with a mark of 16.04m. Scott Peretin also placed in the top-10 in the shot put with a throw of 15.29m.
Nicholas Lyons was 15th in the long jump with a leap of 6.39m.
The Catamounts return to action next weekend at the East Tennessee Tri-Star Invitational April 28.
