WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Western Carolina women's tennis was swept by Wake Forest 7-0 Saturday at the Wake Forest Tennis Center.

TURNING POINT:

Wake Forest swept the doubles points, winning all three matches, and went on to capture all six singles matches.

• INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
• Wake Forest moved to 2-0 in the match after a 6-0, 6-0 loss by the Catamounts Lauren McCall to Anna Brylin at No. 3 singles.
• The Demon Deacons went on to sweep the remaining matches for the win.
• Junior Jordan Strickland faced her first ranked opponent of the season falling to No. 51 ranked Emma Davis 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles.

UPCOMING:

Western Carolina travels to USC Upstate on Sunday for a noon match.
