Cullowhee, N.C. – Tuesday's scheduled baseball game against Appalachian State at Childress Field / Hennon Stadium has been cancelled due to inclement weather including lightning and rain. There are no plans to reschedule the game at this time.

Fans with ticketing questions may contact the WCU Athletics Ticket Office at (828) 227-2401. The ticket office is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Catamounts are back in action tomorrow night, traveling to Gardner-Webb for a 6 p.m. first pitch. Due to ongoing turf improvements at GWU's on-campus stadium, the game has been moved to Keeter Stadium behind Shelby High School in Shelby, N.C., home of the American Legion World Series. Unfortunately, due to illness, there will be no Catamount Sports Network coverage of Wednesday's nonconference road meeting with the Runnin' Bulldogs.
