CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Sophomore Audrey Meyers hit the go-ahead basket with three seconds left and Western Carolina women's basketball buckled down on defense to propel the Catamounts to a 52-51 victory over Presbyterian on Ingles Court in the Ramsey Center Tuesday. The game was a noon tip-off for Education Day in which area school children were invited to the game.

With 13.7 seconds left Western Carolina had inbounds play under its basket. The ball went to the hot-handed Vanessa Oduah who missed the running jumper. Madison Pack ripped down the rebound, passed it to Meyers on the right corner, just inside the three-point arch and she swooshed it home for the lead and eventual win.
