Cullowhee, N.C. - Western Carolina Cheerleading will hold its tryouts for the 2021-22 squad April 24-25 and May 1-2 in Camp Lab Gymnasium depending upon registration numbers. Registration for the 2021-22 tryout is open now through Saturday, April. 10 at 5 p.m.

Due to campus and North Carolina COVID-19 regulations, in-person tryouts are limited to a certain number of participants, hence the two tryout dates. Those planning to attend the tryout must secure a negative COVID-19 test within 3-to-5 days of arriving to campus with the confirmed negative results emailed to the WCU Cheerleading staff. Participants must also supply proof of a medical physical within the last 12 months before being allowed to tryout.
