Track & Field Heads to Liberty & South Carolina Meets This Weekend

CULLOWHEE, N.C. – The Western Carolina track & field teams will see split-squad action in a pair of indoor meets this weekend as the Catamounts head to both Lynchburg, Va., for the Brant Tolsma Invitational and Columbia, S.C., for the Carolina Challenge.

Live results for both meets are available via links on CatamountSports.com.

"We're doing something different this weekend with a split squad," said head coach Jesse Norman. "We've got small groups competing this weekend, one at Liberty and the other at South Carolina. We're giving some people an opportunity to open up their season and to get a check on the level of progression for others. I'm excited to see how it turns out and how everyone competes at their respective meet."
