Sadler Miller climbed two spots in the final standings on Tuesday to record her season-best fourth-place finish to lead Western Carolina women's golf to sixth place as play concluded at the 2025 Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate, hosted by Appalachian State at the par-72, 6,274-yard Mimosa Hills Golf and Country Club.
Miller closed her final round with a 3-over par 75, countering five bogeys with a pair of birdies and 11 pars. The Clayton, N.C., product closed her final four holes at 1-under par with a birdie and three straight pars. Miller finished with six total birdies – three in the first round, one in the second, and two over the final 18 holes for a 54-hole score of 226. Miller was tied for the best par-4 scoring in the tournament field and had the second-most pars (33).
Defending individual medalist
Elizabeth Lohbauer slid eight positions on Tuesday, fighting through a final-round 83 for a total of 231 to come home in a 10th-place tie. Lohbauer, a native of Venice, Fla., carded her team-best seventh birdie of the tournament on her penultimate hole, tying for the seventh-most birdies in the field.
Freshman
Ella Kozak came home with her best career finish, placing in a tie for 16th overall with a three-round score of 237. The Canadian-born striker shot 7-over par 79 on Tuesday, charting her third birdie of the event. Kozak finished tied for second in the field for par-3 scoring at 2-over par (3.17) and was tied for third with 32 pars over the 54-hole event.
Rounding out WCU's scoring five was freshman
Annalee Caveney in 47th overall with a total of 256 and sophomore transfer
Abby Bradley in 53rd overall at 267, posting a pair of birdies overall.
Playing unattached as an individual, senior
Kaitlyn Wingnean was WCU's biggest gainer with a four-spot advance with a final-round 84 for a three-round score of 254 to finish 43rd overall. Wingnean tallied two of her three birdies at the tournament in the final round.

Led by the individual medalist Bella Kent, Southern Conference foe Wofford won the team championship by four strokes over runner-up, Tennessee Tech. The Terriers put two inside the individual Top 10 and finished with a three-round score of 925, four strokes clear of the Golden Eagles at 929. Gardner-Webb (939) finished third, a stroke ahead of North Carolina A&T (940) and event host Appalachian State (941).
Kent finished with a two-day score of 219 to cruise to the five-stroke victory over second-place Neza Siftar of Gardner-Webb (224). Tennessee Tech's Chloe Griffith finished third at 9-over par 225, a stroke ahead of WCU's Miller (226).
Western Carolina now turns its attention to the 2025 Southern Conference Women's Golf Championship, scheduled for Monday, April 14 through Wednesday, April 16, at the Solina Golf Course in West Columbia, S.C., for the first time in the event's history. The Catamounts seek their third conference championship all-time – and first since winning its second in 2007. The SoCon champion earns the league's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
