STATESBORO, Ga. -- The Western Carolina women's tennis team fell to Georgia Southern Saturday, March 10 at Hanner Courts by a score of 5-2.

Shannon Zalinski and Emmy King captured the team's only two wins. Zalinski defeated Amy Winter 7-5, 6-1 while King defeated Callie Ward 7-6, 4-0, ret.

Western Carolina continues its spring road trip with College of Charleston Sunday, March 11 at 1:00 PM.
