Western Carolina's cheerleading squad will hold a Winter Clinic on Saturday, Feb. 8 on-campus in Cullowhee at the Camp Lab Gymnasium prior to the Catamount men's basketball game against Furman in the Ramsey Center.

Beginning with check-in at 8:30 am, WCU Cheerleading's Winter Clinic is designed for youth cheerleaders of all ages and will include cheerleading instruction including cheers, dance, stunts, and tumbling skills, as well as photo opportunities with WCU's cheerleading squad and mascot PAWS (parents welcome at 11:45 am). Participants will also learn the traditional "HEY SONG" and perform with the cheerleaders during WCU's men's basketball game that afternoon.

Registration for the winter clinic is $50 and includes a youth general admission ticket to the Western Carolina - Furman basketball game that afternoon at 2:00 pm. Family and friends can purchase tickets atÂ
