The full 2021 schedule will be announced in the coming weeks which will include four non-conference matches to go along with the nine-match conference slate for a total of 13 matches for the season.

"Our non-conference matches will take place in February before the conference matches start. We will release these matches in the coming weeks" said Head Coach Chad Miller"

Women's soccer league play begins on March 5 with all 10 teams in action. The Catamounts open the conference slate hosting VMI Friday, Mar. 5 and before welcoming UNCG Sunday, Mar. 7.

The Catamounts hit the road for a two-match road swing at Samford and Chattanooga Mar. 12 and 14th before returning home for a three-match home stand with ETSU, Furman, and Wofford the ensuring next two weeks. WCU concludes conference play on the road at Mercer and The Citadel.

The Southern Conference semifinals, hosted by the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, are slated for April 9 or 10 with the SoCon Championship final scheduled for April 16 or 17 at the home of the highest remaining seed.

After the season was postponed in August, the women's soccer team halted team practice for the remainder of the month. The team returned to the pitch for practice in September focusing on strength, fitness, flexibility, and a lot of technical work.

"It has been challenging but the team has taken it all in stride and continue to work towards the future with a positive mentality," Miller said. "We are looking forward to the spring and the opportunity to compete again. The leadership of the group has been outstanding and the team chemistry and work rate have been really fun to watch."
