Western Carolina Athletics Hall of Fame
Two-sport student-athlete who was a four-year starter in women’s basketball and three-year letter winner in softball. Finished her basketball career with 1,446 points to rank third in program history at the time of induction. She averaged double-digit scoring each of her four seasons, tallying 300-or-more points each year while posting double-figures in 76 of her 99 career games played. Ranked 11th in program history with 712 rebounds to stand as one of just 11 WCU women’s basketball players with over 1,000 career points and over 700 career rebounds upon her induction. Was named NCAIAW All-State in basketball as a freshman in 1977 and in softball in 1980 while also collecting All-AIAW Regional softball honors in 1981 … Inducted in 2020.
