Frankie King - Men's Basketball - (1993-95)
A transfer that played two seasons at Western Carolina and finished with 1,495 career points. King was a two-time, first-team All-Southern Conference performer who twice claimed the SoCon's scoring title and twice finished among the top three nationally in scoring average. Also earned the SoCon's Player of the Year accolade twice, garnering the media honor in 1995 and the coaches top player honor in 1995. Drafted in the second round with the 37th overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers in 1996, played 12 years professionally both in the U.S. and abroad. King was selected to the Southern Conference 100th Anniversary Team in 2021.
