Todd Raleigh (Baseball, Player 1988-91; Coach, 1993-95 and 2000-07)
Two-time WCU graduate, twice named All-Southern Conference as a player and twice selected as SoCon Coach of the Year in 2002 and 2007. He spent 15 years in the Catamount baseball dugout as a player and a coach. Named the program’s ninth head coach in 2000, won 257 career games with 132 SoCon wins, a pair of regular-season SoCon championships, the 2003 tournament title, and two appearances in the NCAA postseason, reaching the regional finals both times. His teams had five top-three finishes, scoring 30 or more wins in six of his eight seasons, with 42 victories in 2007 and 43 wins in 2003. Coached three SoCon Players of the Year, saw 12 players go in the MLB Draft with three others signing as free agents, and three advancing to the Major Leagues.
